Danish Post  
  commits to Valtech CRM recommendations

Valtech has assisted Post Danmark, the Danish postal service, in developing a CRM strategy that targets its 30,000 corporate clients. The project has involved Post Danmark sales, service and marketing, as well as IT staff.
From Valtech, it has involved both business and IT consultants. Valtech has now been selected primary partner for current and future CRM implementation.

The project has resulted in a corporate CRM strategy, and a business case-supported execution plan for high priority CRM initiatives, including development of a personalized customer web portal. Post Danmark's executive board is committed to the CRM strategy recommendations and the contained budget.

The CRM strategy aims to protect the postal service's key clients against increasing competition, while converting less profitable clients from the physical sales team to more effective channels, such as the web and call centers.

The CRM program is scheduled for kicked-off in early 2002.
