Based on successful co-operation on projects with the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt, where UNISYS already co-operates in the surrounding e-business field with the international consulting firm Valtech, Valtech was appointed to the UNISYS Preferred Supplier list in August. In particular, Valtech completes the authority of UNISYS in the surrounding e-business field for the establishment of multilevel architectures via the application of state-of-the-art technologies.

Together, both enterprises wish to utilise the rounding of the supply, in order to support customer projects in the future with increased effectiveness.

Furthermore, we have opened a key account with UNISYS which will also help us in the development of the Frankfurt Office. Since UNISYS places its emphasis on Finance and Telco on the way, we may thus expect further access to large enterprises.

The Internet based procurement is already in place with UNISYS in the U.S., UK, Belgium and Holland. In Germany, the rollout is currently taking place. In a later phase, the system will also enable the Preferred Supplier list to be accessed internationally.
